The Standard brings a fresh and welcoming approach to dog grooming while raising the standards of what modern animal care should be. 

The Standard Dog Salon and Supply Co. is  Eastern North Carolina's newest premier dog grooming service provider and high-end retail stop. With years of prior experience in salon management, competitive grooming shows, and utmost customer service quality, we are redefining what it means to have a dog's life. ​

After working in the area at other grooming salons for the past few years (in addition to other salons across the southeast), Laura and Dillon have built wonderful established clienteles and are thrilled to welcome them into this next journey. For all new clients, we are looking forward to getting to know you as well and are excited to have you.

Ina addition to grooming services, The Standard also offers the area's first dog-centered retail shop featuring high end grooming products, dog apparel, treats, and more in a lounge-friendly space to come by and talk all things dog! We also offer personal shopping services, product consultations, brushing lessons, and more.  By setting a new standard of care for your pets, we have elevated what it means to have a dog's life. 

Our client book (with openings for new clients )  and view scheduling in terms of ideal maintenance appointments ranging from every 2-16 weeks (decided upon by us and you) and new clients are taken on by this same premise. Staying on a set schedule is the best way to make sure all grooming and maintenance needs are met!
